Raise your hand if you hate nick hite
Last weekend was the science quizbowl state competition. We drove to n.o. the night before and went to the meet the next morn. It was really fun, we had two teams, Team A had phillip, del, phi, shane, and john….i think phillip was the captian……..and Team B had me, josh, brett, susan, and Shirley…and I was magister. The questions were surprisingly easy….so easy in fact that it kinda tripped me up bc it was not expecting questions like that. In our first round we beat our opponents something like 96 to 44. Our second match we tied, which should have never happened because of our stupidity in greatly overestimating the difficulty of the questions, and because they guys were timing by a “natural pause” because the stopwatches “don’t work that good”….wtf. The third match went well for us, we beat our opponents 120 to 12. The fourth match is where we got screwed though….Baton Rouge Magnet Team C whooped and raped our ass 150something to 44. Since we tied in our second game, we didn’t advance any further…and the other advancing team didn’t have to play BRMC, so that kinda sucks too. After we ate, we went ahead and left back for school cuz josh wanted to be able to make the
sweethearts dance. Team A did ok, but they got spanked by BR Magnet A and C, so at the end of the day 1st place was BRMA and 2nd BRMC and our team A 3rd. Oh well…it was fun, but we should have studied more…can’t change it now.
On the way back Kelsey called josh and told him some really bad news. Gavin Oliver and Hannah Vincent had been in a
car wreck the night before….and gavin needed brain surgery but it was too bad and he passed away. This is the second time this has happened….it pisses me off. Last year about the same time lisa rose was killed on her way up to school….its so sad. I really don’t know what to say about this, it just sucks so much….these people had a lot of potential and an entire life ahead of them…only to be ended in a moment because of someone’s messup. Christ.
By the time we made it back to natchitrash, it was cold. We dropped azn 1 and azn 2 off at caddo, and then shynes dropped us off at Prudhomme. I wasn’t originally planning to go to sweethearts…cuz I didn’t think we would make it back from scibowl in time…hence I didn’t ask anyone. Prem, however, said that I had to go, cuz I was a happening dude….lmao. I went and found my suit and was ready in 5 min….go me. It was only about 6, so I just chilled in my room and brett was really upset, so I tried to be quiet. I felt really bad for him, but I didn’t really know what to say or do…so I just kinda let him lay in his bed…go me again. Well, about 8 I got ma coat on and walked on over to the ballroom which luckily was not too far away. I guess this was my cheap way to a semi-formal dance…I didn’t have to pay for a meal, or a date’s meal…or all that extra stuff like pics and flowers…its was nice for once. The dance surprisingly wasn’t half bad, since they hired dj’s this time. Last time dj’s were hired ppl wanted to cry….cuz they sucked royal ass. There had been rumors that there wasn’t gonna be an afterparty…but I talked to ms Emily and she said they were gonna go ahead and have one, which is good, cuz it would help ppl get their mind off the matter.
The afterparty was a blast, minus one minute detail. Since I don’t download any edited versions of songs…its seems that I
should’ve, lol. The RA’s were circling around the crowd looking for me….because they wanted me to change the song because it wasn’t edited…..everyone already knows the lyrics….what’s the harm? Yea, but the better part of this story is that they didn’t circle for me once, they did it for like almost every song I played….i was like “wtf, I feel like they are gonna
snipe my ass”….they were being really gay…I think the reason was cuz john shore was there. So screw me, I had spent a lot of time on the playlist for the dance and I went and specially edited all of the songs so that they faded perfectly and then saved it as one big 2hr track. But I had to change it cuz john birch said “ya gotta yank tha playlist man”…which really
pissed me off. I went and played an extreme amount of rock and techno because all of the hip hop and rap I had was um…not to their liking. I played gr8 songs though, and wore my self out. I moshed for like the rest of the night..along
with the other not-so-tired ppl. All in all, it ended well…and this time I didn’t have to put the speakers up, cuz the sr class officers said they were cleanin up in the morn so they would do it for me…. a, I was the first back to the dorm, and hence…in my bed. That night wasn’t w/o its price though, cuz I caught a damn cold that im just now getting over.

Recently dr pritz received a brilliant story that nick submitted to his creative writing class. The story just so happened to be word for word plagiarized from a best selling book last year that pritz had read. Nick was also on our school’s Folio staff, which is our schools literary magazine that is viewed nationwide. Nick submitted three word for word plagiarized copies to folio, where it was unbeknownst to them. Here’s the juicy part. He sat there along with everyone else for hours on end
while they debated (the folio staff) on which one of his 20 page submissions to put into folio. They were all amazed that anyone could write that well. Well, he can’t. Not to mention today dipal discovered that his folio submission last year was also plagiarized. Add to the list two other papers that were submitted to his creative writing class, along with others that still probably have not been discovered. This slimeball piece of stupid worthless dung is also still at school. He was suspended and was supposed to be expelled. He admitted to the plagiarizing, but he has no remorse what so ever for
what he did. He lays in the courtyard with his goddamn elitist FRIENDS who are still his friends and they damn well
know they he is crap. His parents also side with him and are hiring a lawyer and appealing his expulsion in court. The worst part is that lsmsa has no budget right now because of a lack of funding…so where is a lawyer to represent the school going to come from. He has no intelligence whatsoever. Conan printed out a petition that something be done about this, and that very same night nearly every guy in Prudhomme had signed this. This is so wrong. URGHHHHHH I can’t type any more now…

Mark : we came up w/ the idea that we could have a “get rid of nick” dance where everyone basically pays for the money needed (to essentially get him out)…and we’ll see if we can get nick there to sign random books
