A page for randomness

Man…its been a long time since I updated this thing. I was gonna do it Sunday…but had to go to church, and I was gonna do it yesterday, but got caught up in my usual busy Monday stuff.

Damn..not sure what to write about…actually this just crossed my mind that I was gonna update my journal…I’m working on the playlist for the winter formal and the after party right now…gotta get it done for this weekend. It’s pretty cool that I got to dj…well, im kinda doin it with conan, basically im makin the playlist and using my computer, but so that neither I nor conan will have to sit at the computer during the dance we decided to partner up. Today was the psat day for the juniors..and all the classes on the second floor were supposed to be cancelled, except of course for mine, lol. But it was ok, cuz (the class was internet programming) and I got some work done on the project that I have to do.

Yesterday was good…but busy as usual. After my normal class day, I have workservice for an hour where I grade homework and help people with computer science stuff or math. I like my workservice, sanjeetha is not too evil. I helped some kid on this hard programming project, but we got it. After that I went and took the written test for science quizbowl…cuz dr hynes wants us to take several written tests to get an idea of our knowledge in various subjects. So far my written test average is pretty high, like the top 4 I think, which means I might get to be on team A and go to state competition and most probably nationals to whoop up on some colleges. Lol. After the sqb test, I had a science club meeting and a society of physics students meeting, but that was short..so after I just went back to my room and messed around for a lil while. Then at 7 I went back up to the school for sqb buzzer practice. That’s always fun…I wish I woulda gotten into quizbowl stuff sooner, cuz I really enjoy it.

Later that night I spent time tracking down clavers and non-clavers for some psychology culture test I made up. Lol…I went to the head claver guy and got the questions…and a lot of the questions stumped the clavies. I hung out for the rest of the night with Meg and Adrienne, and did a lil homework later on.

A couple weeks ago I was elected to honor code court. It’s really cool, and important, but the bad thing is one of my good friends was accused of plagiarism and brought before the court and was sent home, but I had to do what was right ;(

I’m beginning to think im gonna go to Texas A&M, bc I can get a lot of scholarship money to go there. I think haiqiao coincidentally will be goin there, at least he’s applying, but he is pretty sure that’s where he will go.

This school year has been great. I’m having lots of fun, and doin lots of work at the same time. I suppose I’d better get back to those playlists, or it will be my ass…
